4th Workshop

JOINT LAB Integrated Model and Data Driven Material Characterization

Karlsruhe – 15. July 2025

The annual scientific workshop of the Joint Lab MDMC was held on the 15th of July 2025 in Karlsruhe at the North Campus of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. More than 40 scientists attended the workshop from KIT, Forschungszentrum Jülich and the Helmholtz-Zentrum Hereon, to discuss about data-driven modelling and advanced characterization techniques in materials science. The workshop comprised of 20 talks encompassing different aspects of correlative materials analyses, computational methods, meta data management and electronic laboratory books and a poster session that facilitated an open environment for discussion. The scientific program was complemented by a visit of the correlated Magnetic Resonance and X-ray imaging (CORREL lab) and the high-through-put NMR (HiT-NMR) facilities.
